Intro to Ashtanga: Mysore Self-Practice

Take the first step towards building an effective and empowering self practice. Ashtanga yoga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009) that has largely influenced the vinyasa style yoga we practice today. This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat.

In this workshop you'll learn the foundations of Ashtanga yoga philosophy and the methods to jump start your own self practice, Mysore style, learning one on one with the teacher and receiving adjustments along the way. The first half of the workshop will be philosophy and the second will be Mysore style practice where you will receive and memorize your very own Ashtanga practice!

$25 for members, $35 for non-members

Glow Flow

Glow Flow

Join us on Friday, November 16th, for a special Glow in the Dark Flow class from 7:00 - 8:15pm. This is an all levels vinyasa class similar to the typical Friday Night Vinyasa, only we'll be passing out glow bracelets and other glow accessories and encouraging everyone to wear white and neon for class!

Come early to prep your glow gear! We'll have lots of accessories to help you light up during class!

Don't miss out on this fun experience. This is a regularly priced yoga class. Please pre-register in advance (to help us plan) but day-of drop-in's will also be welcome.
